WELCOME

OKI is a licenced residential addiction treatment service provider
About Us
Okisikow Iskwew Center (OKI), located in Frog Lake First Nation, serves youth between 14-24 years. All youth, regardless of background who are willing to employ an Indigenous approach to healing are accepted at OKI. Our program blends Indigenous culture, ceremonies and traditions with evidence-based, trauma informed programming. Clients reside at OKI for at least
90 days during which time they gain the skills to make healthier life choices.
OKI is in a partnership between Frog Lake First Nation and Marcel Desjarlais who is passionate about helping to ensuring the youth have a healthy and supportive environment to heal. At OKI, the first words of
welcome to new clients are “welcome home”. From the moment of arrival to when they leave the program, our clients are treated with dignity, compassion and respect.
OKI has an open intake cycle and we strive to ensure that waiting times are kept to a minimum. We have a wrap around model of care and we ensure that each client who
completes the program has a comprehensive after care plan in place.
